Greetings St. Joe’s Families and Students,
I’m so grateful to be serving as your Professional School Counselor, and will be in my office (also known as “the Calming Room”) 3 1/2 days this school year. This will be my 16th year of school counseling, and I serve our students through individual counseling meetings, small groups, and classroom guidance. I have worked with students, PreK-8th in areas such as:
- Conflict resolution
- Building social skills
- Arranging academic support/organization
- Learning life skills (response to disappointment, anger, fear)
- Strengthening peer relationships
- Increasing self-esteem
- Managing anxiety
