Hi!! I am Mrs. Waxmonsky and I am super excited to be teaching Technology at Saint Joseph School! My family and I relocated to Knoxville, TN last summer from Fayetteville, GA. I was born and raised in Georgia and received my Bachelors of Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Following graduation I spent 15 years working in the corporate world providing desktop publishing, graphic design, and local IT support to a software development company for 5 years and then a defense contractor for almost 9 years. During that time, I got married and had three children. I also became very involved with religious education at our church, my son’s cub scout troop, coaching little league, and volunteering at my children’s schools. I realized that my heart was in working with children. I went back to school and obtained a Masters of Science in Elementary Education (K-8). I have taught second, fourth, and fifth grades and worked with seventh grade middle school. During my experience, I could never decide which grade level I enjoyed the most, therefore I am SO excited to have the opportunity to teach technology to all of Saint Joseph’s students, from PK-8.
