Welcome to kindergarten!  Kindergarten is such a fun time and I look forward to watching your child grow in knowledge and the love of God.

I would like to share some of my philosophies of teaching with you.  First of all, I believe in respecting every child.  Every child who is in my class will be treated with respect and kindness.  I also have high expectations of every child in my class.  I feel that learning has to be meaningful and interesting for the students in order for them to do their best.  Finally, I feel that each child needs to feel good about themselves and the accomplishments that they have made.  I feel that with teaching the curriculum, these philosophies are all actively taking place within the classroom.

We will have fun and interesting activities that will challenge the children and keep them busy.  Our curriculum consists of religion, reading, math, science, and social studies and handwriting.  .  We will learn to work cooperatively with our classmates on various activities.
